Nia is a Welsh artist and illustrator, specialising in multidisciplinary art that celebrates the natural world and her local Welsh environment. Her practice draws from working en plein air, creating gestural studies of the landscapes she inhabits. Her work is often playful and characterised by her distinctive use of colour and line, which create layered and visually exciting images. Her practice is informed through continuous sketching and refining, allowing her to create paintings that maintain a sense of spontaneity and movement.
